Sleep Mode [01 Jun 2005|10:26am]
[ mood | optimistic ]

Wow. I haven't updated this thing in ages, and after this one, I probably won't be able to do so again in the significant future, and you'll find out why a little later on. But then again, that isn't such a bad thing, isn't it? :)

Just a quick rundown of what has been going on with my life:

  • I'm expecting a job offer from a company over the next couple of days, and I'm inclined to take it. The pay is halfway decent, so it's definitely better than the big fat egg I'm currently getting. I'm kinda excited to find out how this thing is gonna play out for me in the long run.
  • Just like me, my PC is gonna go to work: it's gonna go back to our internet shop by next week. No more LJs, emails, and surfing for me until I can save up to buy a new one.
  • My family and I will be moving to a new place, probably within the next few weeks. Yes! No more leaking roof and roach-infested crevices. It'll also be closer to my potential workplace, saving me a bitch of a commute.

Overall, things are really starting to look up for me. I hope this current string of good fortune continues on through the rest of the year.

Well, that's about it. I'm gonna place this blog on indefinite 'sleep mode' as of today. So for now, goodbye internet world!

En Fuego [13 May 2005|05:28pm]
[ mood | amused ]
[ music | Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe ]

Spent last weekend at Punta Fuego with my high school buddies. The place we stayed at was awesome, definitely MTV Cribs material: air conditioned rooms, a wide screen TV, shower rooms with hot and cold water, even a jacuzzi! The private beach was OK, I guess, but I’m not really a beach person to begin with, so it really didn’t matter to me. Because it was an all-boys trip, we stuffed ourselves silly with ALL MEAT MEALS. Down with fruits and vegetables! Hahaha. It was a welcome break from the heat and the monotony of city life.

I got a big, thick, and juicy piece of news a couple of days ago. With it, I now rival pinkyhearts for the distinction of the person with the “pinakamaliit na mundo”. ;P

****

It always feels mildly vindicating when a person who falsely accuses me of doing certain misdeeds ends up committing the same crime himself/herself first. Just proves that I’m not the dirtbag some people make me out to be.

Is it just me, or do the days fly by really, really fast?

Chick Flicks [22 Apr 2005|01:30pm]
[ mood | amused ]
[ music | Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger ]

Here's an excerpt from an article by one of my favorite columnists, The Sports Guy Bill Simmons. Here, he's ranting about women and chick flicks. Very funny and very true (from a guy's perspective, at least).  :)

If you want to read the whole article, click here.

****

Since we're having a little girl within the next two or three weeks, I have spent an inordinate amount of time over the past few months re-evaluating my feelings toward women, as well as imagining every possible scenario involving my daughter. What if she ends up playing in the WNBA? What if she ends up as a Clippers cheerleader? What if she starts dating the 2024 equivalent of Kevin Federline or Colin Farrrell? Name a scenario and I'm prepared for it. I have always operated under the premise that women are somewhat crazy – mainly because of the hormones – and that at least most of them realize it. Fortunately, we have television programming now that reinforces my theory, as evidenced by every season of "The Bachelor.

When women are watching a chick flick, the leaps of faith are 10 times more ridiculous than me thinking that Roy Hobbs' final home run would have made all the lights go out in the stadium at the end of "The Natural." That's the point of a chick flick. All realism gets thrown out the window.

For instance, in "My Best Friend's Wedding," Julia Roberts decides that she's in love with her best friend (played by Dermot Mulroney in a career-ending performance). Unfortunately, he's getting married that weekend. She shows up at the wedding and proceeds to sabotage it for four straight days, ruining the rehearsal dinner, messing with the dude's head and nearly causing them to call a $200,000 wedding off. At the last minute, after his fiancee (played by Cameron Diaz) practically has a nervous breakdown because she's so depressed by what's happening, Julia decides, "You know what? I'm backing off on this one, I was probably a little out of line." And the wedding goes off without a hitch, and she ends up dancing with Rupert Everett (who likes other men) as the closing credits roll.

You would think women would have been offended by this movie, right? Of course not. They loved it. "My Best Friend's Wedding" turned out to be one of the most successful films of 1997. Peruse any female's DVD collection and there's a 65 percent chance she owns it. And there's a good chance that these same women will also be purchasing "Fever Pitch," if only because the Farrellys nailed the 10 generic themes that invariably show up in any chick flick. Here they are:

1. You can't meet the man of your dreams in a bar or at a party. It only happens either if he randomly shows up in your office, if he made some sort of bet about you, if he saved your life or if you happen to be impersonating someone else at the time.

2. If you're approaching 30 and you're still single, it's only because you're working too hard, not because there's something wrong with you. Just make sure you find a potential husband as fast as possible, even if it means destroying someone else's life or committing some kind of crime.

3. In your search for love, always target schoolteachers, bartenders, widowers, or anyone who was once successful before hitting a stretch of bad luck. This way, when they finally turn their lives around or come into some money, they'll erroneously think that you were the reason.

4. If you're dating someone who is passionate about something, he will absolutely give that up for you because all men change once they fall in love. Especially if you have a nice apartment.

5. You can have only three friends: A smart friend who's pretty in a quirky way, a calculating beauty who's morally corrupt and an overweight girl who doesn't say much. You can only hang out with these people all at once. If there's anyone in your life who doesn't fit one of those three categories, get rid of them.

6. Your boyfriend's friends only get in the way. The sooner you can destroy them, the better.

7. If you become pregnant, don't worry – you won't actually have the baby. It's just a temporary dilemma so you can break up for a month and he'll realize that he can't live without you – mainly because you pushed away his friends and ruined his life.

8. If you're breaking up with the guy to prove a point, immediately find the best-looking guy in your office and invite him over to dinner, then hope the other guy shows up. When he shows up, he won't do anything vengeful like get drunk and hook up with the nearest bimbo. He'll simply stop shaving and showering until one of his friends goes over to his house to snap some sense into him.

9. When you finally get back together, make sure it happens in the goofiest place possible – whether it's a baseball stadium, the top of a skyscraper, the launching of a space shuttle or wherever.

10. Either you will end up living happily ever after, or you will find a deep friendship with a gay man that will end up being just as satisfying.

[ music | Ray Charles - You Don't Know Me ]

Wow. I’ve been busy the past couple of days. I guess I should take advantage of my lunch break to update this journal. Lots of things have been going on, especially here at work.

Speaking of work, it’s really crappy when you’re tasked to contact people who are impossible to reach. It’s always either they’re always “out of coverage area” or they simply refuse to answer their damn cell phones. And when you text them, they don’t even have the decency to text back. Couldn’t they feel the urgency in my messages? Heh.

****

To anyone who had a bad day yesterday:

“Beware the ides of March!”

OK, my warning may have come a day late. But if you had a horrible time yesterday, now you know why.

****

Just a few minutes ago after I bought my lunch at the Galleria, I ran into someone who left MBB the same time as I did. Erwin, a.k.a SKY (which stands for Servant and Knight of Yahweh, for those who still don’t know). Apparently he had just finished attending a Bible-type thing which was held in the same building as our office. After exchanging pleasantries, he told me that he was now a teacher, though he didn’t mention what school it was, and that he also had a part time job somewhere. He said he was doing well. Good for him, he deserves it after being treated like crap for years with his thankless job at Albert Hall.

****

To [info]pinkyhearts: sorry that your bag got stolen. Oks lang yan. Kung may mapupulot tayong aral diyan, it’s that may advantage din pala yung “buong bahay” bag ni [info]trueblleu . :D

On the brighter side of things, I don’t think I’ve ever felt healthier. I can actually Indian sit now for a prolonged period of time without any back pain. Woohoo.

That’s it for now. ‘Til next time.

WTF [01 Mar 2005|12:42pm]
[ mood | depressed ]

Everyday, I dream about what lies ahead of me.

Everyday, I dream about nothing.

****

Yesterday, my dad and I met up at the café across the street from our office before we went home. We talked for a few moments about office matters, among other things. The usual stuff.

After a long pause, he motioned for me to come closer and listen to what he was about to say. I knew something was up, and it didn’t feel like it was going to be good.

Then, he dropped the bomb on me like he was the US and I was Hiroshima.

****

I couldn’t believe my ears. All my past frustrations with the way college went came rushing back to my head. My blood boiled. I wanted to point out that this was all his fault in the first place. If he had just trusted me enough five years ago, it’s a safe bet that we wouldn’t need to have that conversation.

Yet through all of it, I managed to keep my composure. With a wry, forced smile and dazed eyes on my face, I told him I’d think about it.

But then again, since when was this a choice? Whenever he’s involved, it’s an order.

****

Once I thought about it, though, a small part of me wanted to give it a go. Not because he told me to, but maybe just to have some direction in this dreary life. Just to be able to shake off the pointless monotony I’m in.

But is this really what I want?

****

And so I’m back where I started, still pondering what the future really holds for me. I hate this feeling, and I can’t wait ‘til this gray haze clears up.

Nothing [10 Feb 2005|03:13pm]

[ music | sounds of Super Mario!!! ]

I've been really busy at work the past few weeks or so, resulting in my utter neglect for this journal. And yet, after such a long time of not even visiting my own blog, there still isn't much for me to write about. For the longest time, I've wanted to write something about myself: about my frustrations with my directionless life, about my pent-up animosity towards my dad, and many others. I wanted something concrete to come out of this self-imposed post-college self-discovery soul searching crap. But what I discovered about myself was that I can only write something coherent when I'm caught up in a moment, be it of anger, sadness, or joy. Once that moment has passed, I lose all motivation to put down that experience to writing. I go back to being the aloof, disinterested prick you know and (some of you) love. So, here I am, once again reduced to rambling about nothing. Shit.

* * * *

On a totally different note, check this link out. This is the most hilarious thing I've seen in quite some time. It is a bit offensive, so if you're the goody-goody lordy-lordy type, you might want to pass on it. But if you enjoy a good, clean (dirty) laugh, this one is a must-see.

Because I've been really busy the past few days, I haven't been updating my journal. But here I am, finally breaking the long silence. Just some random musings here and there...

* * * *

Our president astutely declared that the Philippines isn't a poor country because the sales of beer and call cards went up in 2004. Since when has the amount of beer sold been an indicator of how successful a country is? If anything, people are resorting to beer and texting to drown their sorrows because of how fucked up life is nowadays. Just utter stupidity on her part. I'm no activist here (in fact I have pretty much zero social awareness), but that statement got me a bit riled up.

* * * *

The UP Diliman Shopping Center got in the news this morning. Apparently, the thugs that claimed responsibility (through e-mail! high tech!) for blowing up an ABS-CBN van sent the e-mail from an internet shop in the SC. I'm guessing this happened around Tuesday afternoon.

Gotta love UP, the school where you're never too far away from terrorists!

One person I know took Paris Hilton's advice, and is now in a heck of a bind. Hahaha.

In her second major screw up, everyone's favorite brat/poser Ashlee Simpson got the shit booed out of her during her "performance" at the Orange Bowl around a week or so ago. No surprise there, as Ashlee Simpson whining and wailing away at a sporting event is about as apt as the Viva Hot Babes performing at a funeral.

Speaking of the Hot Babes, their song "Basketbol" just cracks me up. Sobra sa doble-kara, aliw!

The other night, I had this rather large ant bite on my right palm. It didn’t hurt, but it was very, very itchy. After scratching it incessantly for a few minutes, a rather pleasant question crossed my mind:

“Ibig sabihin ba nito magkakaron na ako ng maraming pera sa 2005?”

Then I came across my career horoscope for 2005 this morning...

* * * *

Virgo 2005 Career Horoscope

You might fret and worry, but money won't be a problem for you this year. Work closely with supervisors or long-term clients through January and you'll meet all your milestones with ease. Work starts to get exciting in February as Jupiter enters the picture, and you'll find plenty to keep yourself occupied through the end of March.

April brings two eclipses that will mark a close to the latest round of financial struggles. You might also find it a good time to ask about raises and promotions. Toward the end of the month, you might make a valuable connection with someone outside your industry. Big rewards start to roll in for you, starting in early June. By the end of the month, you could find yourself stuck in the middle of a workplace battle, but make sure to give as good as you get.

As the summer slides into focus, you might feel drawn to new volunteer work, or perhaps even a shift in focus for your career as a whole thanks to a wider view of the world. New people in your life might pull you in different directions. The Moon will take an interest in you during late August and September, and probably will step on the accelerator a little as you go through some new and exciting changes.

It might be beneficial for you to seek the advice of a career counselor or coach in the autumn. Friends mean well, but they're inevitably biased. Your work and/or job search will progress smoothly, but will lack the zing that the early part of the year gave you. There might be a nice holiday surprise waiting for you at the end of this long year.

Woohoo! The first line said it all. :) I’m holding out hope that this is true, because as of now, our company is in a relatively good position to rake in some dough. All it needs is a little time and some effort. I apologize if it sounds a bit materialistic, but in all honesty, it would be a very welcome change given the financial troubles our family has had over the last half decade or so.

The horoscope also mentioned a shift in careers or something like that. That’d be great, because as of this moment, I’m still in the dark as to what I really want to do with my life. I hope this year brings a little clarity into that matter. No matter what anyone says (i.e. my parents), I know for a fact that MBB is not for me.

All in all, I hope this year brings good fortune and peace of mind to everyone. Especially to me. :) Happy 2005!

Edgar [22 Dec 2004|02:21pm]

http://www.livejournal.com/users/trueblleu/98140.html

First off, I wouldn’t have taken it against you if you didn’t refer to me by name. That would’ve been too sensitive of me.

This has got to stop. Everything is getting blown way out of proportion again. We’ve all been down this road before, and I don’t think anyone wants to go through all the negativity again.

Let’s separate the war issue from the org issue. Two totally different things. The two were never connected in any way, and will never be. The war never hindered me from fulfilling whatever duties the org asked of me.

On the war:

Let me clear everything up, Edgar. If there’s anyone who was hostile towards you people before, it was me. And the one person who kept telling me to mend things with you guys was JoAnne. For the longest time, I couldn’t get over the fact that my so-called “friends” never gave me the benefit of the doubt during that war. None of you came to ask me my side of the story. Who made me understand where you people were coming from? JoAnne. Who gave you the benefit of the doubt? JoAnne. Who kept telling me to be patient with you when I wanted to explode? JoAnne. Who kept insisting that I end this and make peace with you? JoAnne.

JoAnne hasn’t told me a thing about what she and Herb talked about last year. Why? Because she gave her word that she wouldn’t tell me. She has never uttered a menacing word towards you or anyone else, much less spread nasty rumors. You’re saying that you took Herb’s side and she took mine. It’s more like she was forced to take mine because you assumed that she did. It never crossed your minds that she truly was being impartial before the whole thing was made public.

She hasn’t been bashing you in the face. She didn’t make an attack on you or anyone else when she could’ve. For sure, she sure as hell won’t start now. If you still can’t understand that, I don’t know what else to say.

On the org issue:

You probably can’t understand where they’re coming from because you aren’t there when they have GA’s. You aren’t there everyday. People actually use the tambbayan now to hang out. Delineations between batches have been dissolved, something our batch failed to do. I’ve witnessed it personally, and I have to say, the difference between now and last year is remarkable. Am I biased? Maybe I am. But yeah, ask last year’s apps if they think so too. I’m pretty sure they’ll say yes.

As Yeli and JoAnne have repeatedly tried to tell you, that statement wasn’t meant to demean any of your efforts. Should that statement have been made? That’s debatable. As you pointed out, things written on blogs are open to interpretation. You obviously took it the wrong way, and she apologized for it. What more could you want?

Another thing: stop it with the “I dare you to send it to our yahoo group and watch as everyone takes offense like I did” schtick. That’s over the line. That is precisely the type of attitude that made the war such a big issue last year when it really was just between two people. Stop making such a big fuss over a thing that can be resolved if people cleared things over with each other. If you really are ready for forgiveness, drop this kind of bullshit.

Word of advice: stop being so damn sensitive about the thing. You took it the wrong way when it wasn’t meant to harm. You demanded an apology, and you already got it. Now let’s all get on with our lives and be done with it. At the end of the day, it’s her blog, and if you don’t like what’s in it, don’t read it.

Let’s not make something out of nothing all over again. Let it go, and forget about it.

Your Dominant Intelligence is Spatial Intelligence
You've got a good sense of space and how the world around you looks. You can close your eyes and "see" images. You have innate artistic talent. An eye for color and shapes, you're also a natural designer. Since you think in pictures, visual aids and demonstartions help you learn best. DVD Review [21 Dec 2004|11:45am]
[ mood | hehe ]
[ music | electric fan noises ]

Since I had practically nothing to do at home for the past few days, I started watching some DVDs just to pass the time away. Here's a rundown of the movies I watched, and what I though about each one:

The Punisher

I would have to say that this is the best Marvel comic book to hit the big screen. Spider-Man was turned into such an emo vampire (sobrang lungkut-lungkutan, sensitive guy) that it just became too draining for me to stand. It obviously was a move made to appeal to the large female audience, for more money. Good thing the makers of The Punisher didn’t go down that road. Total non-stop violence and brutality, mixed in with some funny, comedic stuff too. I especially liked the part where he stabbed a man under the chin, and you could see the blade inside the man’s mouth. A guy flick to the very core.

Dodgeball

A serious laugh trip, even though I saw it in the movies thrice before. Still, I didn’t mind watching it again. I loved the way the Globo Gym Purple Cobras entered the arena with their “wardance.” Extremely funny. This is my second favorite Ben Stiller movie, right behind Zoolander.  (Just a thought: Average Joe’s versus the Globo Gym Cobras, could that have been ripped off from GI Joe? J)

Troy

I also saw this in the movies, so again, another re-watch. Highly enjoyable, especially the battlefield scenes. Although, according to [info]trueblleu (the supreme authority when it comes to baklelong matters), the movie tried to hide the fact that Achilles and Patroclus were lovers by portraying them as cousins. During Achilles' motivational speech to his Myrmidans on the ship-ride to Troy, I began to wonder, who was the better motivational speaker: Achilles, or Morpheus from the Matrix? (The path that lies before me… the path that lies behind me… blahblahblah… MACHINESSSS!!!)

Alexander

No hiding the fact here that Achilles and Patroclus were lovers, although I wasn’t awake to witness it. I was snoring heavily after five minutes of this film. From what I heard from my sister, it was a dragfest. From what [info]trueblleu told me, it was a baklelong-fest.

Resident Evil II

Zzzzzz.

The Italian Job

You can’t shut down the real Napster. :D

White Chicks

Another laugh trip. Seeing that big wrestler-type black guy singing (with actions!) along to A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton is priceless. J Makin’ my way downtown, walkin’ fast, faces pass and I’m homebound…*ding-di-ding-ding-ding*

The Terminal

Watching Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) unintentionally screw over the airport director again and again was so enjoyable. I guess I would’ve enjoyed it more if they took Catherine Zeta-Jones’ character out of the story. I think the story in itself would’ve held up without the cheesy love story angle.

The Manchurian Candidate

God, I never want to see this movie again. It’s not that it was terrible or anything. It’s just that I might end up destroying our TV if I see that character of Merryl Streep again. I hate that woman’s guts. American supremacist bitch. I wanted to strangle her while I was watching the movie. On top of that, she’s a horrible mother and a power-hungry politician. Also, during one scene, it was as if she wanted to make out with her son. I wanted to throw up right then and there. No wonder her son set her up to get shot. (I guess this means that Merryl Streep is a good actress, huh?)

The Village

Creepy plot, although I thought it was quite simplistic. Crazy characters. I never got to the ending though, I fell asleep towards the middle again. I’ll watch it again, just to see if I'll like it or not.

That’s it for now. I’m gonna stock up more DVDs for the Christmas weekend. J

Tababoy [17 Dec 2004|04:21pm]
[ mood | ginebra! ginebra! ]
[ music | The sound of a PBA game ]

Finally got my driver's license card today. I compared my picture to the one on my UP ID (which was shot two years ago).

My reaction: "Ang botchog na ng mukha mo ngayon."

When I in school, I didn't have time for exercise. I never went on a diet. In fact, eating (eating out, more specifically) was quite frequent. And yet, I rarely gained weight.

Since I graduated, I had the time to play basketball regularly. I was consciously limiting my food intake. I also said hello to 10-15 extra pounds.

First Realization: Being in MBB is like having a total body workout everyday. The stress and the toll it takes on your mind and body is tremendous. You need so much energy just to be able to get by. And that's just the studying part. ;P

Second Realization: I don't care if I'm fat. I'm so damn happy to be done with MBB. :D

Pre-Christmas Banter [16 Dec 2004|12:21pm]
[ mood | neither here nor there ]
[ music | Jamie Cullum - These Are The Days ]

Somehow, it doesn’t feel like Christmas. Maybe it’s because of the economic crisis (naks, socially aware). Maybe it’s the weather, with all the typhoons and stuff. Maybe it’s because I don’t have a Christmas vacation period since I’m no longer in school. Maybe it’s because our house isn’t as “homely” as our previous one was. Maybe I’m just growing old and jaded. I don’t really know. It’s just that there’s something eerily plain about this year. Even the TV networks aren’t hyping it as much as they used to. Nobody is excited. Not even little kids. Looks like Christmas will just be another one of those typical long weekends this year.

Speaking of the Christmas season, congratulations to the MBBS Choir for bagging 3rd in the CS Carolfest. I might not know too much about music and pitches and stuff, but I honestly thought you were the most “in tune” group there. The best singers should win a singing competition. Costumes must have been worth 50% of the score for you guys not to win. Still, it’s obvious that you guys had fun with it, and in the end, that’s what matters. Kudos!

I will be forever grateful for this morning, the first one in almost three weeks that I didn’t hear that damn song/commercial jingle “Shine” by freaking Regine Velasquez. Every single morning on the one-and-a-half-hour car ride to work, that song plays at least twice. One time when the traffic was excessively heavy, I heard that song four times! Ugh. It doesn’t even matter if you switch stations. Regine Velasquez is EVERYWHERE. That song is now rivaling Celine Dion’s Titanic theme “My Heart Will Go On” for the title as the Song Most Likely To Drive You Insane. So irritating!

My site meter count is hiking up… ;)

FPJ died a couple of days ago. I never liked the man much. All of these artistas and pulitikos keep singing him praises about how he was such a great person and so on. But from what I’ve heard from my mom, FPJ was a drunkard who often carried guns with him. Once, he even rained down bullets on a church after one of his drinking sprees (it’s not that I like the Church either, but that’s a whole different story), injuring several bystanders in the process. He might have changed for the better over the years, but I still don’t see why so many people revere him. I guess they couldn’t separate the underdog from the movies from the man in real life. During the recent elections, I remember one of his fans, an old woman, being asked, “Bakit mo iboboto si FPJ?” To which she replied, “Kasi ipinaghihiganti niya ang mga mahihirap, lalo na sa mga pelikula niya”.  Ugh.

Well, may FPJ rest in peace.

Random Thoughts Over the Weekend [06 Dec 2004|12:27pm]
[ mood | calm ]
[ music | Craig David - Fill Me In ]

Underrated Fun Activity:

Listening to boy bands wail away during the last 90 seconds of their songs. Hilarious.

(Tell me whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiyayiayiayiaiyaiyiayiayiyiyaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy…..)

Every Saturday morning, my high school buddies play basketball, usually at Valle Verde. Although I’ve been joining them over the past few weeks, I decided to skip last Saturday because I was feeling extremely lazy. Bad decision.

Guess who was there to play pick-up ball? Paul Artadi.

I’m not really a big fan of his, but I do admire the way he plays. And it would’ve been exciting to be able to play with a legit PBA player.

(Sige na [info]trueblleu,</span> kebs ka na dito, panalo Ginebra, no comment ka na. J)

Yesterday, we went to Makati Med to donate blood for a friend. However, me, [info]trueblleu, and my friend Baggy (ampanget) were all rejected for various reasons. I was rejected because I was under medication for my stupid, stupid SINGAW(!). [info]trueblleu wasn’t allowed because it was her happy fun fun joy joy time. Baggy didn’t even bother filling-up the donor’s form because he knew his blood was worse than poison.

Anyway, good luck to the person who needs it most. Kayang-kaya mo 'yan.

Para palang mall ang MRT Ayala Station. Aliw. I was also amused by the fact that the malls in Makati are all connected to each other to form one giant (although redundant) mall. Visions of the huge Autobot Omega Supreme came flooding back into my mind.

One more thing: There are too many damn kids in the malls nowadays. Extremely annoying. Ugh.

****

Finally, to [info]trueblleu and [info]nyinkyhearts: Tama na kasi ang pagpapasaway ng madaling araw. Hehe.

Waaaaaaaah [24 Nov 2004|03:39pm]
[ mood | DOG TIRED ]
[ music | Bamboo - War of Hearts and Minds ]

I’m beat. I can hardly move a muscle. The inside of my upper lip is busted open. I want to sleep. Good thing I don’t have much to do today here at work.

Well, we lost in basketball again. Sayang pa naman, nahabol na eh, kaso mukhang kinulang dahil sa pagod. Kitang-kita yun sa freethrows, panay bitin yung first shot. Breaks of the game na rin ang tumalo sa amin. Malas. But still, it was a great effort by everyone, lalo na yung mga naglaro pa ng soccer before the basketball game. Ang titibay ng mga baga ninyo! Hahahaha.

Mukhang hanggang 3rd na lang ang MBB sa lahat ng games. All out na ‘to sa Saturday para may mga trophy tayo!
